Mountsorrel Community Support Fund is also able to give grants to organisations who provide support to residents of Mountsorrel.
So far in 2024 the charity has given grants to three organisations working for the benefit of those people who live in the parish of Mountsorrel.

Love4Life
Love4Life focuses on identifying solutions that enable disadvantaged teenage girls to break cycles of poverty.
Girls engage with the project who have lack of self-worth often leading to self- harm and suicide ideation; chaotic home environments; poverty; early pregnancy and drug and alcohol misuse; crime; loneliness, isolation and lack of adult support and role models; peer pressure and exploitation risks.
Love4Life provides support in scheduled school sessions girls’ after school groups, and one-to-one pastoral support both in schools and in the community, with the aim of helping girls to:
1. Build self- worth and confidence,
2. Engage with education or find and keep a good job
3. Embrace healthy relationships.
This grant will enable Love4Life to work with 10 girls from Mountsorrel to improve their life chances.

Soar Valley Community Money Advice
Mountsorrel Community Support Fund currently funds a Financial Coach post provided by Soar Valley Community Money Advice. By working with residents in Mountsorrel to provide benefits advice, support with applications, form filling, debt advice and budgeting the Financial Coach helps people to improve their financial situation.
The role of Financial Coach has been shown to be very helpful to many residents of Mountsorrel and Mountsorrel Community Support Fund works closely with the Financial Coach to support those most in need in Mountsorrel. Your Store
Mountsorrel Community Support fund has given a year's grant to John Storer House in Loughborough to provide Your Store in Mountsorrel. We understand that food prices are rising and many people are struggling to meet their food bills for themselves or their families.
Your Store is a social supermarket providing food for just £3. Tins, packets and jars; fruit and vegetables; meat, fridge foods; toiletries are all available as well as low cost bread, eggs and milk.
You don't need a referral, you can self-refer. Currently Your Store is at Mountsorrel Memorial Centre in a customised van. For further information about Your Store you can contact the Coordinator here.
